How You Can Help Our Licensed Virginia Rehabilitators
Our licensed Virginia rehabilitators care for wildlife on a pro-bono basis. As a Virginia Department of Wildlife permitted rehabilitator organization and a 501(c)(3) non-profit, A.E.R.O. can solicit donations and assistance from the public. Although we are prohibited to charge for treating wildlife under Virginia statutes, we do rely on your support to cover the costs of our Mange Fox Program. Those costs include loaner trap inventory, cost of medication, mileage to/from point of capture, as well as other miscellaneous costs. On the average, we incur approximately $50 -$60 per fox treatment using current pricing for the medicine.
